Christopher A. Womack

Chris Womack is WLG’s founder and serves as corporate counsel to a range of business clients, from growth companies to established companies with national and international operations.  He also has substantial experience with corporate representation of ESOP-owned entities.  Before founding the Womack Law Group, Chris was an equity partner for many years at a highly-regarded Phoenix-based firm where he was instrumental in developing the firm's corporate & IP practice groups.  In addition to representing a wide range of privately-held companies, Chris has provided representation to well-known public companies and institutions including Miller Brewing Company, Smith & Wesson and Oxford University.

Chris received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the ASU College of Law where he graduated third in his class and served as a Managing Editor of the ASU Law Journal.  Upon graduation, he received the John J.  Ross Business Associations Excellence Award recognizing his first in the class performance in corporate and business law courses.  He has also completed graduate course work in accounting and finance.  Chris obtained his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University where he graduated summa cum laude

Chris has been a member of various organizations relating to his practice such as the Business Law Section and Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association.  He has written various articles in his areas of expertise and has been a contributing author to the Arizona Corporate Practice Manual published by Thomson Reuters. 

In his off hours, Chris spends his time enjoying music, learning about new subjects, and debating with his spouse about the next home project on their historic Central Phoenix house which they have owned together for over twenty years. He is also a lifelong musician with substantial experience in music production. His travels have taken him across the United States and to nearly every country in Western Europe where he developed varying levels of proficiency in French, Italian and German.

Lisa A. Womack

Early in her legal career, Lisa Womack became a founding attorney of Pietzsch, Bonnett & Womack. After withdrawing from her prior firm, she now devotes all of her professional time to WLG.  Lisa's practice has involved representation of a diverse business clientele including quality privately-held companies and large publicly-traded entities.  Her expertise includes representation of business clients with respect to Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), profit sharing plans, healthcare laws, COBRA requirements, health & disability plans and other employee benefit matters.

Lisa received her Juris Doctor degree from the ASU College of Law where she graduated in the top of the class with cum laude honors, along with other recognitions.  She was the Symposium Editor for the ASU Law Journal and also a legal writing instructor.  During law school, she achieved top grades in a number of courses involving especially complex areas of law.  Lisa obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona where she also graduated with honors.

Lisa has been a member of various organizations such as the NCEO, the American Benefits Council, and the Plan Sponsor Council of America.  She has also been a sought-after speaker on legal matters involving her expertise and has given a number of presentations before various audiences including national presentations for other legal practitioners.

In her free time, Lisa also enjoys music and movies as well as cooking new dishes and old favorites.  She has likewise studied foreign languages and visited a number of countries.  She is a fierce debater and gives no quarter on home project negotiations.
